This Policy applies to information we process through our websites and online Services. If a specific game, platform (e.g., Steam, App Store), or publisher provides its own privacy terms, those terms may also apply.

Information we collect

a) You provide to us

  • Contact data: name, email, handle, social profiles, messages.

  • Playtest data: feedback forms, survey responses, bug reports, voice/text chat (if recorded with notice).

  • Account/transaction data (if applicable): username, platform IDs, purchase history (we do not store full payment card data; payments are handled by third-party processors).

  • Job applications: resume/CV, portfolio, and any optional demographic info you choose to share.

b) Collected automatically

  • Usage & device data: IP address, device/OS, browser type, language, game/app version, crash logs, performance metrics, in-game telemetry (e.g., session length, level attempts, inputs, progression).

  • Cookies & similar tech: first-party and third-party cookies, local storage, SDKs, and pixels for core functionality, analytics, and (if enabled) marketing.

c) From third parties

  • Platforms & partners: distribution platforms (e.g., Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, iOS/Android stores), crash/analytics providers, payment processors, marketing/email vendors—subject to their privacy policies.

How we use information

  • Provide and improve the Services: run servers, enable gameplay, matchmaking, and cloud features; fix bugs; optimize balance and performance.

  • Analytics & research: understand how players engage; measure retention; improve UX and content.

  • Communication: playtest invites, service updates, security alerts, and—if you opt in—newsletters and promotions.

  • Safety, security, and compliance: fraud prevention, enforcing terms, responding to legal requests.

  • Business operations: planning, audits, and potential transactions (e.g., merger or acquisition).

Legal bases (EEA/UK/Switzerland): performance of a contract, legitimate interests (game operation, security, analytics), consent (where required, e.g., certain cookies/marketing), and legal obligations.

We use:

How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We share limited data with:

  • Service providers/“processors”: hosting, analytics, crash reporting, customer support, email delivery, payment processing.

  • Platform partners: to deliver platform-specific functionality and compliance.

  • Legal & safety: if required by law or to protect rights, users, or the Services.

  • Business transfers: as part of a merger, sale, or reorganization (we will notify you if required).

If we ever engage in cross-context behavioral advertising (“share” under certain U.S. laws), we will honor your opt-out preferences via Cookie Preferences and do-not-sell/share choices.

International transfers

We are U.S.-based and may transfer data internationally. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g., EU Standard Contractual Clauses, UK IDTA/Addendum). You can contact us for copies of relevant safeguards.

Children’s privacy

Our websites and general marketing are not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where applicable). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without verifiable parental consent. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us to remove it.

Your rights

EEA/UK/Switzerland (GDPR)

Subject to exceptions, you may request: access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and objection (including to processing based on legitimate interests). Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time.

Depending on your state, you may have rights to know/access, correct, delete, portability, and to opt out of: targeted advertising, the sale of personal information, and certain profiling. Do Not Track

Some browsers send “Do Not Track” signals; we currently do not respond to DNT. We honor legally required opt-out mechanisms described above.

Third-party links & platforms

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new effective date and, where required, provide additional notice.
